Indie romantic comedy film WEDDING PALACE released On-Demand by Gravitas Ventures

Gravitas Ventures is releasing the award-winning indie feature film Wedding Palace on demand, making the film available in over 150 million homes across N. America.

Wedding Palace is the perfect story to warm your heart this winter or share with friends and family in Valentine’s season, Wedding Palace tells a unique and funny story about a two distant lovers that form a deep relationship through video chats and texting.

Shot in Los Angeles and Seoul, Korea, with two separate crews Wedding Palace is the first U.S. Korea independent co-production. The film joins a Korean American Hollywood cast, led by Brian Tee (“The Wolverine,” “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”) and award-winning S. Korean actress, Hye-jung Kang (“Oldboy”) in her charming English language debut. Nicole Herrington of the New York Times says the two “sparkle together.” Bobby Lee (MadTV), Emmy nominated comedian Margaret Cho and Stephen Park (“Snow Piercer”) round out this hilarious cast. Amidst the star-driven award-season, the cast is an ensemble of fresh faces.

Wedding Palace wrapped up its theatrical run last month after a successful festival run and is available now on demand across North America on all major domestic cable providers, DVD and iTunes, where the film is climbing the charts – debuting at #23 across all Independent Releases and #13 across all Romance Films.

Wedding Place is the debut feature of Christine Yoo. Director, Producer, Co-Writer, and Distributor, Yoo is a graduate of USC School of Cinematic Arts. To produce this film, Yoo received wide support from the Los Angeles, Koreatown business community, and Korean companies such as LG Mobile, Korean Air, Hyundai.
